Who can take part

  • You must sign a consent form and be willing to follow study steps
  • You must be 18 or older
  • Your ulcer must be between 2 and 40 square centimeters after debridement and not more than 5 millimeters deep
  • The ulcer must have lasted more than 30 days despite usual wound care
  • Blood flow to your leg must be adequate (checked by an ankle-brachial index above 0.5 or specific ultrasound signals)
