Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
- Your foot ulcer is on the lower part of your foot (below the ankle) and is between 1 and 20 square centimeters after cleaning.
- The ulcer has been present for at least 4 weeks but no more than 52 weeks.
- You have good blood flow to your foot (a doctor will check this).
- The ulcer is not infected, you do not have bone infection, and you are not on certain medications (like high-dose steroids or chemotherapy).
