Who can take part

  • You have a diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder
  • You are between 21 and 70 years old
  • You take one of these antipsychotic medicines (olanzapine, risperidone, clozapine, or haloperidol) or you are not taking any antipsychotic medicine
  • Your weight has stayed fairly stable (within about 5%) over the past 6 months
  • You are not pregnant
  • You do not have substance abuse problems
