Who can take part
- You are 65 years or older.
- You had a kidney transplant (and only one kidney transplant, either first or second).
- You are taking tacrolimus once daily (Advagraf) as your main “triple therapy,” with a trough level at least 5 ng/mL.
- You also take mycophenolate (MMF at least 1.0 g/day or EC-MPS at least 720 mg/day) plus prednisone (at least 5 mg/day or equivalent).
- Your donor was blood-type compatible, and your immune risk at transplant was low (PRA 20% or less and no donor-specific antibodies).
- You have not had certain other treatments or medicines around transplant (like other induction medicines, or sirolimus/everolimus/belatacept/azathioprine within 3 months).
