Who can take part

  • You are age 4 to 75 (including children).
  • You have a confirmed immune problem (often a known genetic mutation) or a doctor determines your immune disorder is severe enough to consider transplant.
  • Your past medical history includes at least two major signs of severe immune disease, such as serious infections, unusual germs, repeated antibiotics, chronic virus activity, or immune over-reactions/autoimmune problems.
  • A donor is available: a closely matched related or unrelated donor (not an identical twin) OR a half-match related donor.
  • You can safely tolerate transplant: heart, lung, liver, and kidney tests are within required ranges, and you are well enough to do the study (performance status).
