Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your brain artery dissection symptoms started within the last 30 days.
  • Your doctor can explain the study and you can provide consent.
  • Your dissection was not caused by a prior medical procedure done inside the blood vessel (endovascular intervention).
  • Your condition is not a tear that started outside the skull and only later moved into the brain (extracranial dissection with intracranial extension).
