Who can take part

  • You’re 18 or older and your main diagnosis is OCD
  • You’ve had severe OCD for at least 5 years with major life impact
  • You tried at least 3 OCD-related SSRIs (or similar options) without adequate benefit, plus clomipramine
  • You also tried other add-on medicines and CBT (specific exposure/response-prevention therapy hours)
  • You must be able to get an MRI and undergo surgery/anesthesia safely, and you can speak/write English to consent
