Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older.
  • You have one of these brain tumors: glioma, inside-the-brain meningioma, pituitary adenoma, craniopharyngioma, or another rare brain tumor (or the tumor has come back).
  • Your doctor believes you need radiation (radiation alone or with chemotherapy) and that you could receive either proton or photon treatment.
  • Your overall health and ability to function are good enough that you can be an outpatient, and your doctor rates this as ECOG 0–2.
  • You can have MRI scans for treatment planning and you can follow the study schedule, including regular follow-up visits.
  • You can understand the study and sign written consent (or you have legal ability to provide consent).
