Who can take part
- You must have a confirmed meningioma that is WHO grade 2 or 3 (atypical or anaplastic).
- Your tumor must be in the upper part of the brain (supratentorial), not the lower brain or spinal area.
- Your tumor must have returned or grown despite standard treatment, proven on a recent MRI or CT scan with contrast, and you must be at least 28 days past surgery and 28 days past radiation.
- You must not have had bevacizumab before, and there must be at least a 4-week break from any prior cancer medicines (washout) before starting.
- You must have enough health to tolerate treatment: good bone marrow function (blood counts), and acceptable kidney, liver, and urine/protein results; you must also have a life expectancy of at least 12 weeks.
- You must be able to use the required contraception and agree to avoid pregnancy during the study; you must not be pregnant or nursing.
