- You are 18 years or older
- Your surgery is planned in advance (not an emergency) and is an aortic hemiarch operation
- Your surgical plan includes unilateral selective anterograde cardioplegia
- Your care team expects blood to be stopped in the lower body for less than 20 minutes
- You can understand the study and sign written consent
- You are able to get unilateral selective anterograde cerebral perfusion (uSACP) during surgery
