Who can take part

  • You are a child who either has PANS or is a healthy control
  • If you have PANS, it started suddenly and was diagnosed using specific symptom patterns
  • If you have PANS, the PANS must have begun recently (new onset)
  • You must live within 90 miles of Stanford University
  • You must have a pediatrician near Stanford who can be followed for about 3 years
  • If you are in the healthy control group, you must have no psychiatric diagnosis
