ADHD medicine compared for kids with type 1 diabetes

Who can take part

  • Your child is 8 to 16.5 years old when the study starts
  • Your child has type 1 diabetes for at least 12 months and uses intensive insulin therapy
  • Your child has an ADHD diagnosis confirmed by a qualified professional
  • Your child’s average blood sugar control is not too high (HbA1c must not be ≥12% over the past year)
  • Your child does not have certain health or safety issues (heart problems, epilepsy, severe glaucoma, substance misuse, or pregnancy/breastfeeding)
