Testing hip surgery plan during periacetabular osteotomy for hip dysplasia

Who can take part

  • You have hip dysplasia (DDH) and are choosing PAO to treat it
  • Your age is between 15 and 55
  • You have minimal or no arthritis, like Tonnis grade 0 or 1
  • You can have a standard MRI arthrogram before surgery
  • You are not pregnant
  • You have not had prior surgery on that hip, including prior hip arthroscopy to treat inside-joint problems
  • You are not having PAO only for a different reason like acetabular retroversion without DDH
