Who can take part
- You’re 18 or older and have heart failure symptoms most days (moderate to severe) for at least 3 months
- Your heart’s pumping strength (ejection fraction) is 50% or less, and you don’t have major valve problems or certain heart muscle/scar problems
- An ultrasound with contrast shows a specific sign during exercise (septal flattening)
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or less, and you don’t have major lung disease on lung testing
- You can give informed consent and aren’t in another research study
