Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are taking the best available medications for heart failure.
  • You have heart failure that makes you short of breath or tired (NYHA class II to IV).
  • Your heart's pumping strength is 35% or less (ejection fraction).
  • Your ECG shows a wide QRS complex (greater than 130 milliseconds).
  • You do not have a serious heart event in the last 6 weeks or a life expectancy less than 6 months.
