This Phase 1 study tests a personalized cancer vaccine made from each patient’s CLL (“neoantigens”) plus a medicine called poly-ICLC to help the immune system learn to recognize the cancer. It is designed for people who have CLL but are currently not needing treatment, to see if it’s safe and may help keep the disease under control.

Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and meet the study’s criteria for “unmutated” IGHV (less than 2% mutated vs normal).
- You have not received any CLL treatment yet (no prior chemotherapy, targeted CLL drugs, immunotherapy, radiation, or hormone therapy) and your care team expects you likely won’t need treatment in the next 6 months.
- Your CLL is measurable on blood tests (for example, your absolute lymphocyte count is above 10,000, or your white blood cell count is at least 20,000).
- Your blood counts show CLL over time: you must have at least two additional absolute lymphocyte count (ALC) tests at least 2 weeks apart, and at least 2 months before the test used for registration.
- Your health must be strong enough for study treatment (for example: adequate bone marrow and organ function; and good performance status).
