Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older with Ph-positive (BCR-ABL–positive) ALL, or relapsed/refractory Ph-positive ALL, or certain advanced-phase CML in a lymphoid/blast phase (some situations are assessed separately).
- Your leukemia test shows measurable remaining disease (MRD positive) by blood/marrow testing using PCR, flow, or other lab methods, if that is the pathway you’re entering.
- Your body can handle treatment: your performance status is 2 or lower (a simple scale of how active you are).
- Your liver and pancreas labs meet safety limits (bilirubin, AST/ALT, lipase, and amylase), unless the doctor thinks abnormal values are from leukemia itself.
- You can start safely from a heart/kidney viewpoint: no uncontrolled heart problems (like recent heart attack/stroke, severe heart failure, dangerous rhythm problems, or uncontrolled blood pressure).
- You agree to effective birth control (or abstain) during the study and for 4 months after the last dose, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
