This study builds a research bank using samples from people with stroke, their family members, and some people without narrowing in their blood vessels. Your samples help researchers study stroke and related brain and vessel changes.

Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must be Chinese (Chinese ethnicity only)
- You can join if you’ve had a stroke, a close family member, or you’re a person without inside-the-brain or outside-the-brain blood vessel narrowing
- You must be willing to have blood taken
- You must be willing to have spinal fluid and/or body tissue taken (for storage in the research bank)
