Who can take part

  • You have been told you have early-stage prostate cancer confirmed by biopsy or lab tests
  • Your prostate cancer risk is low-risk or favorable intermediate-risk (based on PSA, Gleason score, and biopsy results)
  • You’re at least 18 years old and can sign consent to join the study
  • You can have the treatment under anesthesia (general, spinal, or local) if needed
  • You have not had prior radiation to the prostate or the lower pelvis area covering the prostate
  • You are not in a current other drug study, and you don’t have serious uncontrolled health problems (like unstable heart disease or active infection)
