Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer that is at least unfavorable intermediate risk (your doctor will confirm this).
- You are planning to receive a standard high-dose brachytherapy boost (internal radiation) as part of your treatment.
- You have never had radiation therapy to your pelvic area.
- You have not had surgery to remove your prostate or certain other prostate procedures (like HoLEP or TURP).
- Your urinary symptoms are not severe (a score of 16 or less on a standard symptom questionnaire).
