Who can take part
- Your child is 0 up to under 18 years old
- Your child is having surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital under general anesthesia
- During surgery, your child will be on a breathing machine through an endotracheal tube
- Your child will have a radial arterial line placed for blood pressure monitoring as part of anesthesia
- There is no history of certain heart or lung conditions or other specific medical risks listed in the exclusions
