Who can take part

  • Your leukemia/MDS test shows an IDH1 change called R132 (other IDH1 changes may be possible only after discussion with the study doctor).
  • You have AML that is new or has returned/resisted treatment, or you have high-risk MDS; you must be eligible for intensive chemotherapy (or the MDS/high-risk type may also qualify after review).
  • Your day-to-day functioning is good enough (ECOG 0 to 2).
  • Your liver and kidney blood tests are within safe ranges (bilirubin not too high; ALT/AST not too high; kidney filtration rate at least 30 mL/min).
  • You must not have already received CPX-351, and you can sign informed consent.
  • You must be able to take the study medicines by mouth as instructed (no major stomach/intestine or body-milk/chemical problems that would block absorption).
