Who can take part
- You had a normal eye exam within the last 2 years (if you’re enrolling as a control)
- You can have clear retinal imaging—mild cataracts are okay, but significant clouding may block scans
- If you have an inner retina/optic nerve problem, it must match listed conditions (like ischemic optic neuropathy or certain vision-field defects)
- If you have an outer retina problem, it must involve outer light-sensing cell loss (like AZOOR or similar)
- You can sit still and keep your gaze steady during short eye-imaging sessions
