Who can take part

  • You’re 18 to 60 years old
  • Your head injury happened within the last 30 days
  • Your TBI was confirmed by hospital records showing moderate severity (Glasgow Coma Scale 10–15 and/or loss of consciousness over 10 minutes)
  • You had a head CT scan when you were admitted
  • Your CT does not show major structural problems (for example, large bleeding, brain herniation, major swelling/hydrocephalus)
  • You must be able to consent in writing and speak/read English or Spanish
