Who can take part

  • You recently had a head injury that is not a penetrating wound (like a gunshot or stabbing).
  • You can safely have an MRI scan (no metal implants, pacemaker, or severe claustrophobia).
  • You can receive the MRI contrast dye through an IV (no severe allergy or kidney problems).
  • You have a negative pregnancy test if you are of childbearing age.
