Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 82 years old.
  • You have had a traumatic brain injury (TBI) at any severity (mild, moderate, or severe) that happened when you were 18 or older.
  • You are able to give your own consent to participate.
  • You do not have any metal implants or devices that prevent an MRI scan, and you are not pregnant or claustrophobic.
  • You have not been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or mild cognitive impairment.
  • You do not have a current substance use disorder, severe asthma, heart rhythm problems, or weigh less than 110 pounds.
  • You speak English fluently.
