Tracking long-term results of spine tethering in growing teens

Who can take part

  • You have idiopathic scoliosis (a spinal curve with no known cause)
  • You are planning to have AVBT surgery to help correct a worsening curve
  • You are still growing (your bones are not fully mature yet)
  • Your curve measurement (major Cobb angle) is between 30° and 65°
  • Your imaging shows your spine bone size/shape can safely hold the surgical screws
  • You tried a brace but it did not work or you couldn’t tolerate it
