Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older when the surgery happens
  • You have full-spine standing X-rays (about 36 inches) available for the whole spine
  • Your planned surgery is a long posterior spinal fusion with pedicle screws across 5+ levels
  • Your surgeon will add the VersaTie system near the top of the fusion (upper area of the spine)
  • The top and bottom ends of the fusion match the study plan: top ends at a newly instrumented level, bottom ends at the sacrum or pelvis
  • Surgery is scheduled within the next 6 months
