Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have squamous cell carcinoma in the head or neck and are scheduled for surgery to remove it
  • Your blood counts, kidney, and liver function are within acceptable limits
  • You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or uncontrolled heart failure in the past 6 months
  • You have no history of allergic reactions to antibodies or iodine
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
