Who can take part
- You’re age 12 or older, and you’re either male or a woman who isn’t pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have advanced or metastatic GIST or another solid tumor confirmed by biopsy or similar testing.
- Your tumor is resistant to imatinib (a standard GIST medicine) or you’ve had treatment that stopped working after at least 6 months (and then the tumor grew again).
- Your overall health score is ECOG 0–2, and you’re expected to live at least 3 months.
- Your blood counts and organ functions (kidneys and liver) are strong enough for study treatment.
- Your heart and heart rhythm tests are within safe limits (including blood troponin level, heart pumping strength, and QT interval).
