Who can take part
- You are more than 6 weeks past your spinal cord injury
- Your spinal cord injury is between the C7 and T10 levels, from either a fall/accident or non-traumatic causes
- Your injury has strong movement loss (motor complete) and is rated ASIA A or B
- You are 18 to 75 years old, and can follow verbal instructions
- You can bend both knees at about 90 degrees and can tolerate FES muscle stimulation
- You do not have recent lower-limb injury and no serious untreated wounds where electrodes would be placed
