Who can take part
- Spinal cord injury between the mid-neck and mid-back that is stable (not getting worse) and has lasted more than 1 year
- Able to take at least a few steps, even with help from devices like walkers or parallel bars
- Between 18 and 99 years old
- Muscles respond appropriately to electrical stimulation (tested during screening)
- No implanted pacemakers, neurostimulators, or similar devices in your body
- No severe muscle stiffness, unhealed fractures, pressure sores, or active infections in your legs
