Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • Your spinal cord injury occurred more than 1 year ago and affects the mid-neck to mid-back region (C5–T10)
  • You have at least 3 cardiometabolic risk factors (such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes)
  • Your spine is stable and any old fractures have fully healed
  • You can understand instructions and give informed consent to participate
  • You do not have active skin sores, infections, or other serious medical conditions requiring treatment
