Who can take part

  • You (or your legal helper) can understand the study and sign informed consent
  • You must be age 18 or older, or meet specific age/weight rules for younger participants
  • You have AML or MDS (including certain newly diagnosed, relapsed/refractory, or secondary/related forms)
  • You must be able to do daily activities at least somewhat (ECOG 0–3 or similar ability score)
  • Kidney, liver, and bilirubin blood tests must be within allowed limits (or explained by known conditions like Gilbert’s)
  • If you can become pregnant, you must use reliable birth control and have a negative pregnancy test before starting
