Who can take part
- You are age 4 to 80 (or the parent/guardian is participating for a child).
- You have high-risk leukemia that has come back or isn’t responding (such as acute lymphocytic leukemia or acute myeloid leukemia, etc.).
- You can do the scan while awake (no sedation) and can tolerate the 18F FLT imaging.
- Your general health tests are within limits (oxygen levels >90% without oxygen; and liver/kidney blood tests not too high).
- You can use effective birth control during the study if you are age-appropriate; the study requires you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You (or a parent/guardian) can understand the study and give informed consent.
