Who can take part

  • You have Alzheimer’s-related memory problems and a dementia rating score of 0.5 or higher
  • You also have major depression or mild depression that has lasted more than 4 weeks but less than 5 years
  • Your depression has not improved with antidepressants or you couldn’t tolerate them
  • You can keep your medication routine steady for about 2 months before starting, and you won’t be expected to change meds during the study
  • You’re able to complete the TMS sessions on the study schedule and pass the TMS safety checks
  • You have a study partner (informant) who can help fill out questionnaires
