Study of complications from flu and lung Aspergillus infection

Influenza With PneumoniaInvasive Pulmonary Aspergillosis

Part of Infections, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This study looks closely at how influenza (the flu) and a specific kind of lung fungus called Aspergillus affect people who are sick in the ICU with breathing problems. It may help doctors better understand the cause and improve treatment for severe lung infections.

NCT07313527Recruiting
PCR monitoring for invasive aspergillosis prognosis

This study looks at whether repeated PCR tests for a fungus called Aspergillus fumigatus (in blood or lung fluid) can help doctors track how well treatment is working for a serious lung infection called invasive aspergillosis. It is for people who already had a positive PCR test at diagnosis.
