Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older
  • Your brain tumors are confirmed (from biopsy/cell test or strong imaging history) to be metastases from a solid cancer
  • You need surgery to remove one brain metastasis, and a neurosurgeon says you are a good surgical candidate
  • You have a plan to receive stereotactic radiosurgery to all treatable brain spots (10 or fewer total metastases)
  • Your overall health/activity level is limited but not severe (ECOG 0–2)
  • You can agree to follow-up visits and share imaging reports if you’re followed outside the main study site
