Who can take part
- You have AML (or certain related blood cancers like MDS-IB2 or CMML) that has relapsed or is refractory to prior treatment
- Your ability to do daily activities is ECOG 0–2 (meaning you are not severely limited)
- You are old enough to take oral medicine and expect to live at least 3 months
- You have had enough time pass since your last therapy (often at least 2 weeks for chemo, 4 weeks for some biologic/cellular treatments, or based on washout for other drugs)
- Your liver and kidney tests are within required limits (AST/ALT, bilirubin, and creatinine clearance)
- You have no key “must-not-have” conditions like APL or BCR-ABL-positive leukemia, and you do not have leukemia in the brain/spinal fluid
