Who can take part
- Your child is 4 to 8 years old
- Your child is scheduled for bladder surgery that will require a catheter left in after surgery
- Your child has not had any prior bladder surgery
- Your child is not taking medicines that affect bladder muscle activity (antimuscarinic or antispasmodic) before starting
- Your child is not taking certain mood/brain medicines (like antidepressants, anti-anxiety, or antipsychotics)
- Your child does not have glaucoma or a brain/nervous system condition that affects bladder sensation or thinking
