Pembrolizumab plus low-dose oral chemo for chest wall breast cancer

Breast CancerChest Wall Tumor

Treatments studied

Part of Cancer, Skin clinical trials.

This Phase 2 trial tests pembrolizumab (an immune therapy) plus low-dose oral cyclophosphamide in people with chest wall breast cancer that has spread locally and may have distant metastases. It aims to see if this combination can shrink tumors and control cancer longer, especially in tumors with certain immune markers.

Who can take part

  • Your chest wall breast cancer must have been proven by biopsy, and your tumor must be either PD-L1 positive and/or have enough immune cells in the tumor called TILs
  • You must be able to have tumor samples taken more than once (serial biopsies), and provide tissue for these tests
  • Your expected survival is more than 3 months, and you can sign consent (or assent if a minor)
  • You must be age 18 or older and your cancer must be measurable by scans (including areas previously treated with radiation if it has progressed)
  • Recent blood work and organ function must be acceptable, and your general functioning score must be 0 or 1
  • If you could become pregnant (or father a child), you must agree to reliable birth control during the study and for 120 days after the last dose

NCT05491226Recruiting· Phase 2
Pembrolizumab plus radiation and myeloid-targeting for high-risk breast cancer

This trial studies whether adding pembrolizumab (an immune “unlocking” drug) to radiation and another treatment that targets certain immune cells can improve outcomes for women with high-risk, early-stage triple negative breast cancer. You may be considered if your cancer has signs that it may respond less to immunotherapy on its own.

NCT04297605Recruiting· Phase 1
Pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy for advanced lung cancer

This Phase 1 study tests pembrolizumab (an immunotherapy) given together with a chemotherapy drug to treat non-small cell lung cancer that is locally advanced or has spread. It’s aimed at people who can handle treatment with an ECOG performance status of 2, including some with certain types of brain metastases.

Rochester, New York
NCT05589818Recruiting· Phase 2
Pembrolizumab for advanced lung cancer without key gene targets

This Phase 2 trial studies pembrolizumab (an immunotherapy drug) in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer whose disease can’t be treated with curative surgery or combined chemoradiation. It aims to see how well the treatment works and how safely it can be given, especially for people who have not had other cancer medicines for metastatic disease.

NCT03591276Recruiting· Phase 1/Phase 2
Doxorubicin plus pembrolizumab for hormone-resistant breast cancer

This Phase 1b/2 trial tests a combination of pegylated liposomal doxorubicin and pembrolizumab for breast cancer that no longer responds to hormone treatment. It aims to see how well the combination works and how safely it can be given to patients with advanced disease.

Jerusalem
NCT06078384Recruiting· Phase 2
Pembrolizumab and chemo for early-stage triple-negative breast cancer

This trial studies whether adding pembrolizumab (an immunotherapy) to standard chemotherapy after surgery can improve outcomes for people with early-stage triple-negative breast cancer. The treatment you receive depends on the level of immune cells (TILs) found in your tumor.

Amiens
NCT06538012Recruiting· Phase 1/Phase 2
Tumor immune cells plus pembrolizumab for advanced lung cancer

This trial tests a new approach: taking immune cells from your own tumor (TILs), growing them in the lab, then giving them back to you along with the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab. It is for people with advanced lung cancer who have run out of standard options.
