Who can take part

  • Be 18 to 90 years old
  • If you had a stroke: it must be chronic (more than 6 months ago)
  • If you had a stroke: brain scans should show the stroke area (a lesion)
  • Be able to understand instructions and carry out simple commands
  • If you had a stroke: you must be able to voluntarily move the affected arm (not complete paralysis)
  • Avoid certain issues like substance abuse or major uncontrolled psychiatric problems
