Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old.
- Your doctor has told you you need a CRT-P or CRT-D device based on European heart guidelines.
- Your heart condition is from ischemic (blocked-heart-artery) disease, not another cause.
- You have been on the best heart medicines for at least 3 months, and your condition is stable.
- You cannot have major reasons you could not receive a pacemaker/defibrillator (including no need for special pacing through the heart lining).
