Cardiac MRI-guided device implantation versus standard CRT

Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old.
  • Your doctor has told you you need a CRT-P or CRT-D device based on European heart guidelines.
  • Your heart condition is from ischemic (blocked-heart-artery) disease, not another cause.
  • You have been on the best heart medicines for at least 3 months, and your condition is stable.
  • You cannot have major reasons you could not receive a pacemaker/defibrillator (including no need for special pacing through the heart lining).
