Heart Resynchronization Therapy With Electrical Mapping Guidance

Who can take part

  • Your heart rhythm is normal (sinus rhythm), not irregular like atrial fibrillation
  • Your heart pumps weakly (ejection fraction ≤35%) and your heartbeat is slow or wide on an ECG, OR you have an ejection fraction ≤40% with expected pacing >20%
  • You have heart failure symptoms (shortness of breath, fatigue, or limitations with activity)
  • You've been on optimal heart failure medications for at least 3 months
  • You've never had a pacemaker, defibrillator, or CRT device implanted before (with rare exceptions)
  • You don't have recent heart attacks, strokes, severe valve disease, or kidney/liver failure
