Who can take part
- You are being evaluated at Oslo University Hospital for CRT (before implantation or after as follow-up).
- Your heart rhythm is sinus rhythm.
- You have heart failure symptoms classified as NYHA class II or III despite best medicines.
- You have left bundle branch block and your QRS duration is at least 130 ms (a heart tracing measure).
- Your heart pumping strength (left ventricular ejection fraction) is 40% or less, and you had an echocardiogram before implantation.
- You are between 18 and 80 years old, and you can give informed consent.
