Who can take part

  • Age 18–75 and you have high-risk MDS or a related AML type with at least 5% blast cells in bone marrow
  • Your bone marrow and risk scores meet the trial’s specific thresholds (including an IPSS intermediate/high score) and transplant is planned within 6 months
  • Your activity level is good (ECOG 0 or 1) and you can sign informed consent
  • Your heart function is strong enough (left heart pumping strength, LVEF, is at least 50%)
  • Kidney, liver, and other key lab tests must be within allowed ranges
