Who can take part
- You have a new diagnosis of higher-risk MDS (not previously treated for this).
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- A specialist says you are eligible to receive a stem cell transplant.
- You have enough general health to do daily activities (performance status 0–2).
- You are expected to live at least 3 months, and you can sign consent.
