Who can take part
- You had an ischaemic or bleeding stroke recently (in the subacute recovery stage).
- You are being transferred directly from an acute hospital to this inpatient rehab program.
- You did not have bladder control problems before your stroke.
- You have not had a prior brain injury or other brain disease.
- You have not had prior bladder or prostate surgery.
- You could walk before your stroke (or at least were able to ambulate).
- Your health team does not expect you to live less than 3 months.
