Diaphragm function and bladder control after stroke

Who can take part

  • Be between 40 and 75 years old
  • Had a confirmed stroke (either bleeding or blockage type)
  • Currently have problems with bladder control (urinary incontinence)
  • Have no other major health conditions like arthritis, bone disease, or other nerve problems besides stroke
  • Be able to understand simple instructions and have good mental function (score 24 or higher on a memory and thinking test)
  • Speak and understand Turkish and be willing to take part
