Who can take part

  • You are planning to receive external beam radiotherapy for lung cancer or a small number of lung metastases
  • Your lung tumor is stage I non–small cell lung cancer, or up to 3 lung metastases
  • A plan is made for a lung fiducial marker placement, and your doctor says it’s safe for you
  • Your CT/MRI scans (including 4D-CT) are available before the marker procedure
  • Your tumor size is between 1 cm and 5 cm, and it sits not more than 10 cm from the top of your diaphragm
  • Your health and breathing are good enough (doctor rates your respiratory performance as acceptable, and activity level is ECOG 0–2)
